Samsung printer help

Samsung printers (now supported by HP) are widely used for their fast, compact laser printing. Most Samsung issues involve toner cartridges not being recognized, paper feed rollers needing a clean, or the printer dropping off the wireless network. Because HP now manages Samsung’s printer division, driver and software updates are handled through HP’s support site.

The guides below cover the most common issues you might run into with your Samsung laser printer.

Samsung printer FAQ

Why won’t my Samsung printer connect to Wi-Fi?

Ensure you are connecting to a 2.4 GHz network, as many older Samsung models do not support 5 GHz. If the printer keeps dropping offline, assigning it a static IP address usually resolves the problem.

My Samsung printer says "Toner Empty" but I just replaced it.

This happens if the toner chip isn’t making proper contact or if you are using a third-party toner that isn’t recognized. Take the cartridge out, wipe the gold contacts on the chip, and reinstall it firmly.

Where do I download drivers for my Samsung printer?

Since HP acquired Samsung’s printer division, all driver downloads and software updates (including the Samsung Easy Printer Manager) are hosted on the HP support website.
